Salthill Devon Football Club is delighted to announce that we are fast approaching the completion of the Drom Rejuvenation Project. We now have our four 7 a-side artificial grass pitches fully surfaced and work is well on its way on the full-size pitch. We hope to announce the completion of the development in the coming weeks.

Furthermore, the club are pleased that for the second successive year, we have agreed favourable commercial rates with Galway United FC for the League of Ireland club to be hosted at Drom for training facilities for the upcoming season.

With the Drom Rejuvenation Project nearing completion Galway United will have access to a state of the art facility as their training centre for the season ahead.

In advance of the kick-off of the League of Ireland season and as part of their pre-season preparations Galway United will be playing (weather permitting) Shamrock Rovers FC at Drom on Saturday the 2nd February, Kick Off, 6.00.pm Admission is €5, U16’s go free.

We encourage all supporters to come along to Drom to get behind the team and coaching staff for what should be an exciting game.
