SDFC Girls u12 hosted Knocknacarra in the Premier Cup semifinal Sunday at Drom for a keenly awaited match.  The team held a good shape to allow Emily Fitzgerald to open the scoring after 16 minutes with her superb second shortly afterwards. Megan Brady produced a classy finish across the line at 26 mins to take the team into 3-0 lead by half time.

Early second half goal saw Emily confirm her hat trick and the lines continued to hold well providing good supporting options to the forwards. Great teamwork between Defense and Midfielders ensured the opposition opportunities were limited in their spirited counter attack and goalkeeper Lily Stone. Kept the sheet clean with safe hands to confirm a 4-0 win
