The Salthill Devon Girls qualified for the Western region Final with a win over Kilmurray FC (Mayo) on Sunday 16th Dec in sunny Drom !

A settling period of 10 mins before Alex Shepard opened the scoring for Devon , quickly followed by a second from the same player. Kilmurray came back with well struck goal before Salthill began to increase the gap.

Hat trick from Alex Shepard with goals from Elisha Bohan, Aoibhin McDonnell and Kate Thompson saw Devon out as 7-1 winners.

Manager Mark Hengerer’s girls now face the same team in the last 16 of the Irish cup on Jan 14th in an away fixture.

The team end the first half of the season undefeated in all competitions.
