Last year's U12 Premier League winners qualified for the national u12 finals in Dublin next month by winning the Connaught final last Saturday in Drom. First up it was a 6-1 win over Dunmore with 2 goals each by Aoife Nash, kaelah Tobin and Emily Fitzgerald.

To win the group they needed to beat Westport which they achieved by a 1-0 with a good finish by Emily Fitzgerald who was played through by an unbelievable ball from Kaelah Tobin. In the final they beat Claremorris 1-0 when Emily Fitzgerald was taken down in box. Emily scored the resulting penalty to put Salthill through. It was an excellent squad performance.
