Shane Fitzgerald’s U12 Girls achieved the double adding the Premier League Cup to the Premier League title in Eamonn Deacy Park on a sunny Wednesday evening. With multiple injuries the squad strength was called upon. Emily Fitzgerald opened the scoring 20mins into the game after some sustained pressure by Salthill.

After 27mins Emily struck again running on to a great through ball from Kaelah Tobin. Knocknacarra pushed hard in the second half and Elle Browne made some fine saves. The third goal came and it was a hat trick by Emily Fitzgerald running off a ball from Daria Brennan.  A great end to the Season as the Girls now go to the national regional qualifiers next October.
