Shane Fitzgerald’s U12 Girls captured the premier league tonight in Headford with a win over Moyne Villa. It was 20mins before the deadlock was broken with Megan Brady scoring the first goal and adding a second mins later. Other Goal scorers on the night were Emily Fitzgerald, Ailbhe Ferguson and Aoife Nash.Well done to the young Devonettes who now look for the double as they play Knocknacarra in the League cup final in Eamo...n Deacy Park Weds May 23rd. It’s been a great season so far with six of the Devonettes also playing for Galway in the up and coming national Interleague Semi-final against Sligo on June 23rd.
