GFA Girls U12 Premier

SDFC U12A Girls looked to maintain the pressure in pole position in the league when Cregmore visited Drom on Sunday 4th Feb. First half goals by Ailbhe Ferguson, Daria Brennan and Emily Fitzgerald ensured a comfortable first half, in the second half Elle Browne and Kaelah Tobin followed suit to put in an overall fine team performance. 5-0 to Salthill on the day. Salthill stay top of the table.  Well done girls.

GFA Girls U12 D1

SDFC U12B Girls travelled across to Cappagh Park to take on Knocknacarra this sunny Sunday Morning 4th Feb in the GFA Division 1 league match. First half goals from Georgia Costello and Leah Murphy gave the 2 Nill lead into half time. Second half saw a third by Aiofe Bunshcu cementing the 3-0 win. A great performance from the entire squad with relentless forward attacks , solid midfield engine and a back line that would not be broken. Goalkeeper Frances Hardy ensured the clean sheet.

GFA U14 Boys and Girls

Salthill Devons U14 Boys and Girls visited Furbo to play Barna in a double header. First up the U14 boys won 0-1 with Matthew Thompson scoring a great header 20 mins into the game. Devon dominated the game and Barna played a defensive game. It was more of one way traffic with the U14 girls winning comfortably 0-5 , goals coming from Caoimhe NicAodha, Emily Fitzgerald and Saoirse Burke.
