The Youth A travelled to MileBush Castlebar over the weekend to take on Fahy Rovers in the Connaught Sheild. The fist 30 Mins was a close battle with both teams looking for the opening goal,Byron Lydon scored a cracking goal from open play 1-0 just before half time Jake Begley again from open play scored 2-0. 

Half time Salthill Devon came out blazing and after 5 mins Jake added another goal 3-0. The final score was 8-0 with Jake Scoring 4 goals,Byron 2,Sean Quinn 1 and Dean Grealy 1. The back line were superb and deflected all the attacks from Fahy Rovers. Man of the match was Rory Murray and obviously Jake Had an outstanding game,the whole team played as a team

Fahy Rovers were great hosts very positive and wished us good luck in our upcoming matches and treated us to pizza and chips,they were great ambassadors of how clubs should interact.
