A depleted squad went to Killala and emerge vitreous after an eight player penalty shootout. Conditions were very poor and Killala took the lead late in the first half. Good interplay between Camille Keane and Kate Thompson produced a tap in for Saoirse Burke. 1-1 at HT.

The second half and extra time saw chances missed on both sides. After five penalties it was 4-4. It went all the way to 8 penalties and Ria McPhilibin made a great save.
